History
The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT)
was founded in 1887, one of the first major unions in America. Painters
and Allied Trades District Council 30 was chartered by the International
Union August 17, 1925. District Council 30 is comprised of ten local
unions representing 3,600 painters, decorators, drywall finishers and
glaziers.
District Council 30 enhances the quality of life for its members and their
families by providing outstanding wages and excellent retirement and health
insurance benefits currently 3,600 members.
