PDC 30 Volunteer Work Continues

As part of a Union Sportsmen’s Alliance (USA) “Boots on the Ground” project, volunteers from Painters District Council No. 30 helped put the finishing touches on a new facility that will host youth educational programs at the Torstenson Family Youth Conservation Education Center.

The Fourth Annual STARs Ceremony took place Saturday, May 19, 2012. Members and their families came out for a day filled with games, prizes, food, and raffles, where one lucky member - Christopher Bement - walked away with a new Ford F150. Christopher is a Local 1285 member, and is employed by Oosterbaan & Sons Co.

PDC 30 Apprentices Graduate

“While working with the apprentices over the last three years, I have had the privilege of learning a bit about each of their unique stories,” said Stephen Lefaver, Director of Apprenticeship and Training for PDC 30's JATF, of the 23 apprentices issued Certificates of Completion at the 2011 graduation ceremony on January 19th.
