Jennifer Sherman is the Controller for Painters District Council No. 30 and its affiliated funds. Jennifer is responsible for oversight of the financial health of Painters District Council No. 30 and its affiliated entities along with all regulatory reporting requirements. She develops and maintains financial policies and procedures, internal controls, and separation of duties; manages all bank accounts and monitors reserves and investments of each organization; processes tax payments and prepares quarterly and year-end tax filings; oversees an anti-fraud program; and prepares for annual financial audits and works with outside accounting auditing services. 

Jennifer is a graduate of Central Michigan University, where she majored in Accounting. Before joining Painters District Council No.30 Jennifer worked for a public accounting firm where she was a Senior Accountant and was responsible for all aspects of audits for not-for-profit and for small businesses. In addition to accounting, she is proficient in American Sign Language.
