On Thursday, June 28 th, 2007, the annual “Union Night” was held at Elfstorm Stadium, Home of the Kane County Cougars in Geneva, IL. More than 300 members and families of Painters District Council No. 30 came out for this great event.

Painters District Council No. 30’s Open House was held on Saturday, October 13 th, 2007. The event was attended by all District Council Union Representatives, International Representatives, members, contractors, elected officials, and the general public came to see the opening of our new state of-the-art 73,000 sq. ft. building that houses Painters District Council No. 30’s Office, Benefits Office, and Joint Apprenticeship Training Center.

Painters District Council No. 30 and its’ Joint Apprenticeship and Training held their annual Apprentice Graduation on Friday, October 26 th, 2007 at Pipers Banquet in Aurora, Illinois. This year’s class graduated 115 Apprentices who will now enter the Industry as Journeypersons. Apprentice Coordinator, Gary Von Behren emceed the festivities, Secretary-Treasurer Charles Anderson, IUPAT/FTI ATR John Burcaw, and Representative of Bureau of Apprenticeship Training Rhonda Kliman all addressed the graduates.
