Painters District Council No. 30’s Open House was held on Saturday, October 13^th, 2007. The event was attended by all District Council Union Representatives, International Representatives, members, contractors, elected officials, and the general public came to see the opening of our new state of-the-art 73,000 sq. ft. building that houses Painters District Council No. 30’s Office, Benefits Office, and Joint Apprenticeship Training Center.

Painters District Council No. 30 and it's Joint Apprenticeship and Training held their annual Apprentice Graduation on Thusday, October 29^th, 2009 at Pipers Banquet in Aurora, Illinois. This year’s class graduated 72 Apprentices who will now enter the Industry as Journeypersons. Apprentice Coordinator, Gary Von Behren emceed the festivities, Secretary-Treasurer Charles Anderson, IUPAT/FTI Director Dan Penski, and Representative of Bureau of Apprenticeship Training Rhonda Kliman all addressed the graduates.
