Our Union
The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District
Council 30 is an organization whose paramount concern is giving everyone
who paints, finishes drywalls or performs glazing work the opportunity
to be represented by a Union and work under a salary and benefits package
agreed to through collective bargaining between the Union and the employers.
District Council 30 is a leader in the painting, drywall
finishing and glazing industries. Through annual collective bargaining
and year-long advocacy, District Council 30 guarantees top wages and benefits
for its members. District Council 30 is also active in organizing, as
we seek to further expand our presence by encouraging membership to all
working people regardless of age, sex, race, national origin, or religious
preference.
