Organizing
The most important thing we do at Painters District Council
30 is organizing. Organizing is extending an opportunity to unrepresented
workers to experience the solidarity that comes from Union membership,
a working wage, benefits, and safe working conditions. Our organizing
has allowed us to grow since our founding in 1925 and makes us a force
in guaranteeing fair treatment on the job for hundreds of men and women.
And our organizing works. Because we make it a priority,
contractors who hire our members are the best in the business. They care
about their employees and join the Union in bettering the lives of Union
members and their families.
