Wage Rates are determined by three established Wage Zones, which correspond to the various local unions that comprise PDC 30's jurisdiction. When a Bargaining Unit Employee works in any Zone, the Employee shall receive the higher of: (1) the hourly wage rate for the Zone in which the Employee's Local Union is chartered (the "Employee's Home Zone"), or (2) the hourly wage rate for the Zone where the work is being performed. The Fringe Benefit Rate combines the fund contributions to be paid on each covered employee (Health & Welfare, Pension, Apprenticeship, LMIDF, IUPAT LMCI, IUPAT Pension, and Defense). These rates are totaled for each Zone based on employee classification. The Dues Check-Off and Defense Fund contributions are still considered employee deductions that should be deducted from the payroll check. Note that, as of October 1, 2012, you are no longer required to pay PDC 30 Pension Contributions on behalf of Apprentices.
