Charles "Chuck" Anderson has served as Secretary-Treasurer / Business Manager of Painters District Council No. 30 since 1993.

As Secretary-Treasurer, Chuck serves in a variety of local and national leadership capacities.  He serves as a Trustee on the PDC 30 Health & Welfare, Pension, Joint Apprenticeship & Training, and Labor Management Industry Development Funds; Trustee of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades’ (IUPAT) Finishing Trades Institute; Trustee of the IUPAT’s Painters and Allied Trades for Children's Hope Foundation (P.A.T.C.H.), and member of the IUPAT’s General President’s Advisory Committee.  

Chuck regularly provides advice and support to regional organizations and community groups, and seeks to make local, state, and federal officials aware of local needs.  He is a member of the Aurora Human Relations Commission and Economic Advisory Committee (prior appointment to the Aurora Economic Development Commission) and, at the State level, a member of the Illinois Attorney General’s Labor Advisory Council.  He recently served on a City of Aurora taskforce that recommended new standards for responsible bidders and strategies for improving opportunities for women- and minority-owned businesses.  He also serves as a member of the Lay Board of Trustees of Marmion Academy and the Quad County Urban League’s Board of Directors, and maintains regular involvement with the activities of the Marie Wilkinson Foundation and the Spectrios Institute for Visual Rehabilitation.
