The Painters and Allied Trades District Council 30 Joint Apprenticeship & Training Fund (JATF) is a union apprenticeship for those wishing to learn painting, wall covering, drywall finishing, glazing, faux finishing, texturing, wood finishing, special coatings, spray painting, abrasive and water blasting, basic math and geometry, and labor history.

Apprenticeship training equips the Apprentice for profitable employment, develops the necessary background for good citizenship, and ensures that both the employer and the public benefit from good craftsmanship.
