The Goal: To help you and your family deal with home and/or workplace challenges that can disrupt your life as well as the lives of your family.

The Strategy: A Member Assistance Program (MAP) that offers you counseling services designed to help you and your family deal with a variety of life situations such as: alcohol and drug abuse, marital and family conflicts or issues, adolescent and child difficulties, divorce and separation adjustment, job-related stress, legal and financial difficulty, death of a loved one, and other personal and emotional challenges.

How to Participate: MAP services include access to on-line information resources, at www.ers-usa.org(Username: painterS, Password: DC30), or licensed mental health professionals with experience helping people get through difficult times. Either over the phone, at 800-292-2780, or in person, MAP counselors will evaluate your concerns. Through the MAP, you and your family members can receive up to six (6) confidential counseling sessions per incident with a counselor. All costs for these sessions are covered by the LMIDF.
